Hey Georgette! First of all Nice work!!! Secondly I like sunsets, and when I saw this drawing I was like WOW! The bright red and orange sun just stood out. The sun is the centre of attraction in your painting. I like the colours you used and all the blending techniques you used.
To start off I want to say nice choice on colours. I like how the blues and greens are on one side and the reds and oranges are on another. All of these colours go very well together. The blending technique you used is amazing because u did not press to hard but you blended the colours gently because if u pressed hard it would have stood out but you just kept the flow going.
The colours in the sky are amazing. Red and orange go very well together. The sun is really nice because it is big and u coloured it from dark to light. You also drew the sun's reflection in the water which brings the painting to life.
The palm trees are very cool. They also tell you the type of area this sunset takes place because there are sunsets in every country but palm trees are not in every country. So the palm trees bring the painting a Caribbean kind of look. Without the palm trees it can be any country. The birds are also important to the drawing because it shows that this place is not empty and that there is life on it.
So Georgette you did a Great job and I can tell you worked really hard on this painting because every detail counts. To end off I have one question:
